Healthy Vegan Pizza Recipe

Sometimes all ya need is a slice of pizza! This easy to make healthy vegan pizza is perfect to whip up when that's just what you're craving! After a trip to New York City, we were inspired to re-create NYC's famous pizza, TIU approved of course! We recommend enjoying with a glass of vino😉🍕🍷

INGREDIENTS
- 1
whole wheat or gluten free pita bread
- 1/4
cup pizza sauce
- 2
Tbsp. almond or cashew cheese
- 1/4
cup red onion, sliced
- 3
baby artichokes, sliced
dried chili flakes
fresh basil, diced
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
STEP 2: Lay your pita bread on a baking sheet. Spread the pizza sauce on top with a spoon. Add the cashew cheese, red onion, and baby artichokes. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 3: Before serving, add a sprinkle of chili flakes and fresh basil. Enjoy!
