Super Slim Burger Recipe
lb lean ground turkey
cup egg whites
tsp. ground garlic
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
portobello mushroom caps

STEP 1: Preheat grill. If you don’t have a grill, you can make them in a pan.
STEP 2: In a bowl, combine ground turkey, chickpeas, egg whites, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine. Form 2 patties.
STEP 3: Put on the grill and cook on each side for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how thick your patties are. If you're using a pan, cook covered for about 7 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of your patties, until cooked through. Press with a spatula after flipping.
STEP 4: Form your burger with the mushrooms caps as the “bun” and add your favorite toppings. We love 1⁄4 avocado, ketchup, mustard, red onions, and leafy greens. We also love pairing this with grilled asparagus and lemon!
