  • 1/4

    cup gluten free rolled oats

  • 1/3

    cup almond mik

  • 1/2

    cup your favorite yogurt ~ we love Greek & almond based yogurt!

  • 1

    tsp lemon zest

  • 1

    tsp lemon juice

  • 1

    tsp honey

  • 1

    tsp chia seeds

  • 1/2

    scoop vanilla Perfect Fit Protein


STEP 1: Combine all ingredients in a mason jar. Cover and allow to sit over night or up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
STEP 2: When ready to eat, simply take mason jar out of the fridge, open, add optional toppings like 1 Tbs of granola, and enjoy!

    1. I had planned on jut adding a bit more almond milk but mashed banana is a great idea! I’ll be trying that :)

    2. Update: I tried using half a mashed banana with a little extra almond milk and the oats turned out great!

  6. What kind of yogurt do you ladies use? I’m having a hard time finding a #TIUapproved one =/

    1. I bought the almond dream vanilla yogurt. I haven’t tried it before this so I am hoping it is good!

    2. If you have a Whole Foods near you, I have fallen in love with the Kite Hill Plain Almond Milk yogurt. I’m dairy-free, and it’s the first non-dairy yogurt I’ve found that can satisfy my cravings for the real thing!

  7. Is there anything else that can be used for lemon? I can’t handle lemons.

  10. Oh my goodness, I can’t stop eating these and the strawberry mint version, too! I love myself some lemon so I make 2 jars at a time, each gets half the lemon – juice and zest!! So good :) Thanks for the recipe! <3

  11. These were absolutely delicious this morning! Made some for the hubby, too. Were they meant to expand at all overnight, or just “marinade” overnight? I don’t think mine grew at all. Wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

  12. Tried it with both greek yogurt and then with almond yogurt and turned out AH-MAZING! I am obsessed with this breakfast.

  13. I made this last night to have this AM and it was very soupy. Anyone have any recommendations on how to fix that or is that normal? I used GF rolled oats and they didn’t seem to absorb much at all?

    1. Whenever I make Overnight Oats, I generally use the same OAT:MILK ratio. I would recommend adding more oats, chia seeds or protein powder and you should have a better consistency.

  14. Overnight Oats are a summer staple for me. This new lemon recipe is to die for! So refreshing, filling and almost tastes like dessert!   17. Once prepped how long do these stay good? I do most of my meal prepping on Sunday but I am worried about how they will hold up by the time Friday comes around and maybe be too soggy or mushy =(
