How to Get Rid Of Cellulite

Guess what babes… most of us have cellulite! I have cellulite, Karena has cellulite and more than 90% of women have cellulite! It’s totally normal! Over the past few years, both Karena and I have learned some amazing ways to help lessen and even get rid of cellulite– yup, not only reduce the appearance, but actually get rid of it.

Although we haven’t been able to get rid of it fully, it’s amazing how much it has improved over time!

What is Cellulite? 

Cellulite is the dimpling appearance of fat underneath the skin. Dimpling occurs underneath the many layers of your skin, showing a bumpy appearance. As women, we have ‘more’ cellulite than men, because our skin is thinner and we are built differently than males. It doesn’t mean we have more fat, it means we have different skin. The male epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous tissue tends to be thicker and smoother, meaning you can’t see any dimpling— yes you can curse the men in your life for a quick second, but really, we’re so blessed to be strong women ~ and the female body is beYOUtiful!!!

These life-changing tips have helped us reduce the appearance of cellulite. Applying not one, but ALL of these tips will help you look toned, fit and confident! You deserve to look and feel fabulous, so here we go:

You’ve heard us say it time and time again. Nutrition is everything! Feeding your body clean and nutrient dense foods is so important for your metabolism, your health and keeping your body fueled and energized. Some foods like protein actually have a thermic effect on the body, burning more fat throughout the day. Reach for plenty of vegetables, greens, fresh fruits, whole grains, nuts, seeds and clean proteins. We roll out EVERY DAY!

Why? We foam roll for circulation, flexibility, range of motion and recovery. Since we do so many squats and deadlifts with ToneItUp, we make sure to foam roll each day for myofascial release and circulation…  plus it feels amazing. You’ll immediately feel the relief and results!
