The Charity Challenge officially kicks off TOMORROW… and WOW we are already so blown away by your commitment! It’s time to get fit with purpose and love! We can do so much as a community by coming together, making a difference and sharing our stories.

    Just wondering if there is going to be any fall updates for the nutrition plan? The one from last year was so great!! Also, sunset challenges? Thank you so much K&K for creating such motivational and inspiring challenges.

      I was thinking the same thing! I thought that members would be given the 8 week food and workout schedule with the grocery list, etc for this challenge. It totally helped me immensely during the bikini challenge to not have to think of putting meals together and deciding what to cook ahead of time or purchase. I hope that happens again!

      Hey! It looks like some of them have PM challenges. For Wednesday, there is a night challenge to do back to back arm toning. I am not sure where to find that. Wednesday looks confusing. Booty call is Yoga and then do we complete slender abs and shoulders?

        hey! I’m pretty sure the slender abs and the shoulder routines are the workouts for the back to back arm toning challenge! so those would be done in the evening.

    Can the DVDs be included more in the schedule? My copy of Beach Babe 3 should arrive soon, so I would like it if it was incorporated more, perhaps 1-2 times a week. :) Super excited to use it!

      You can consider subbing in the dvd workouts even if they aren’t in the schedule. For example, this week you could sub Beach Arms from beach babe 3 for one of the arm workouts, and/or Caribbean kettletoning for bikini kettlebells! Just a thought :)

    Hi K&K / anyone who knows, I like to do rowing when I’m at the gym, how should that be converted to TIU miles? Is it divide like biking or multiply like swimming? Thanks! :)

      I’m pretty sure 15 minutes of rowing is 1 mile…

      Multiply like swimming – rowing and swimming are similar in that they’re both anaerobic, so if you’re doing with correct form it should be a super intense workout. FYI most rowing competitions last 2000 or 5000 meters so they’re about 6-8 and 15-20 minutes respectively.

    Hey! I am a varsity competitive rower, so I don’t do TIU workouts the 3 days I have practice, but I want to follow along with the 100 miles challenge. Each practice is 2 hours with a 1/2 mil run and up to 75 minutes of moderate rowing. How many “miles” should I count each practice?

      I would consider every 15 minutes of rowing to be 1 mile, so 5.5 miles :) If you guys go more intense, like HIIT intensity, then do 1 mile per 10 mins.

    Is there a video for Thursday’s fall cardio routine? And, how many miles per day adds up to the overall 100?

      I think they said it ends up being like 2 miles per day.

    K&K, can you give us an idea about what we will need for Tuesday’s new HIIT workout? It helps me to know in advance whether it’s a gym or home workout and the anticipated duration (without ruining the surprise, of course). That way, I can plan ahead and make it home in time to get the kids ready for school :)

    I’m a little confused-are the booty call miles in addition to the workout videos posted, or do the videos and printable routines count as the cardio for the miles? Thanks

      booty call is addition to the video… usually toning doesn’t count towards your miles unless its a HIIT routine.

    Do we convert cycling and swimming miles in this challenge like we have in previous challenges? Or is it a mile to mile single ratio for this one?
    e.g. 3 cycling miles = 1 TIU mile and 1 swimming mile = 3 TIU miles

      I was wondering the same thing. I can’t find anything about this I n it in any of the fit for fall challenge info. It seems like we should but it would be great to know. Otherwise, I could be racking up miles like crazy on my bike.

    Was so disappointed when we didn’t get a update in the members email this past Thursday, I am all for the charity challenge but was looking forward to really getting in the fall spirit with a new update…. I liked the planned out meals during the bikini challenge but had gotten frustrated because my bundle arrived half way through and I felt like I wasn’t up to date like everyone else… Even thought i had ordered it two weeks before the challenge started….. And with the meals already planned out I found the update useless to me because I have a family of 5 and it’s easier for me to pick and choose recipes that are easy for me to make that go well with what my family asks for me to cook….. Please tell me we get another beautiful update like last fall..”” This time of years my restart I prefer it to new yrs lol and am hoping I won’t be disappointed

    Hi! I’m new here.. just a quick question. We should be completing two miles a day unless states otherwise, yes?

      yes, if there is a HIIT workout, yoga sunrise routine or rest day scheduled, you don’t have to run the 2miles… unless you want to of course!! :D just do the math: 100 miles in 8 weeks would be 12.5 miles per week. hiit counts as well, but the rest will be cardio-miles (= running, spinning, cycing, dancing, …..)

    Is there something missing for the Tuesday Morning Booty Call. Says the new HIIT for Fall routine is coming but no link and no other routine indicates.
    And then there is 3 moves for toned thighs and that’s it. Seemeds a bit off.

    Hey K+K!! ♥ … Is there any possibility that you could upload Tuesday’s new am wo before you go to bed on Mondays? Because all of us #TIUeurope girls get up around that time (and I imagine the #TIUaustralia girls get up even earlier! I’m wondering how they manage the schedule)…. It would be so great if we were able to wake up and have the new WO ready for our sweat session! Lots of love from #tiuSpain ! ♥♥♥

        I agree. It’d be super helpful to have the new workouts posted ahead of time. I think I’ll do an older HIIT routine to replace the one that’s not here yet.

      I would just adjust your days. Sometimes I don’t necessarily do Monday’s workout on Monday, I’ll do it on Tuesday and follow along a day behind!

    I used a HIIT routine from the TIU YouTube channel since there wasn’t a link to a new Fit for Fall HIIT routine. Between the Love your body HIIT routine and the thigh toning, my thighs are screaming! I’ll be the best kinda sore later!

    Just a quick question. Along with the BC and toning/strength listed here are we also adding 20 minutes of cardio? I’m not sure if today I do the new HIIT routine and add 20 minutes of cardio, which would be my elliptical. Any help would be appreciated

    how many miles would a spin class be considered? I go to a studio structured similar to Soul Cycle (not as expensive though!). They say we do 15-20 miles a class.. would it be stretching to say its worth 4 miles?

      I am tallying up my miles from Week 1 and was wondering the same thing. I go to a 45 min spin class that’s pretty intense, though I don’t know how many actual miles we average per class. I was considering using the 10 minutes of intense cardio equals 1 mile rule. So, I think 4 miles sounds reasonable.

    I’m a little confused. I am a TIU Member and have paid for the nutrition plan – but I don’t see a daily menu like there were for the previous challenges. Am I missing it? Where is everyone finding their daily recommended meals to make from the TIU recipes? Thanks!!

      i’m just doing what i normally do on the TIU plan. although, as i’m still quite new i’m e enjoying trying everything at least once (my OCD must do everything in order side coming out haha)
