    Does the stars and stripes workout count for the #100bysummer ? and if so, how many miles would it count for?

      Hey Janna,
      They usually say that a 30min full body workout counts towards 3 miles, if you can do this workout in 20-25min than it’s 2-2.5 miles

    How many rounds of bikini arms and abs are you supposed to do during tuesday’s workout? :)

      Majority of the routines do not have a specified amount of rounds. I typically do 2 rounds of each, just depends how my body is responding that day! (I only use 3lb weights, if you’re using 8lb+ like recommended, you may want to stick to 1 round!)

    2. I use 5lb weights, and depending how my arms handle it, I do anywhere from 1 round to 1 1/2, every now and then no more than 2. Hope this helps!

    New to TIU… what weight of dumb bells do they use for arms? It looks like either a 3 or 5 lb?

      They recommend using 8-12 lbs – they use lighter weights when filming because they are doing the exercises over and over again and they want to be able to maintain perfect form the whole time. If you are brand new to weights, 5 lbs is a good place to start :)

      I’m not sure what they do, but I personally started with 3 lb weight and have gradually went up to 5 lb weights. I would recommend using whichever weight is a challenge for you, however make sure that you still feel in control and that you aren’t for instance, dropping your arms rather than slowly lowering them as will help you lose fat and gain muscle:)

    3. I have poor upper arms strength from fibromyalgia, so I’ve been using 5lbs. I’ve found that by doing 5lbs I can go 1 1/2- 2 rounds before I start feeling as though I’ve pushed myself too hard. I would use the lower the weight, the more reps as a golden rule to help you. Hope this helps! Keep it up!

    Oof… Thursday is a crazy day! I have dinner plans with friends so I did the 30DS this morning but it looks like I still have a lot of catch up to do after dinner! Last night did a spin class followed by the Sunrise routine even though it was evening, i’s just one of my faves :)
