Top 3 Ways to Find Motivation… #BIKINISERIES
WOW… you’re all doing so amazing with the BIKINI SERIES! Karena and I are blown away by the response so far! It seems like everyone and their mother is doing the BIKINI SERIES… no really, not an exaggeration… all of our friends and their mammas are doing the challenge!!! We’re so happy and we have YOU to thank!!! :) :)
We’ve seen a couple questions about finding motivation and what makes us get up in the morning for our workouts, so we decided to put together our Top 3 ways to find motivation during the BIKINI SERIES!

1. DIG BABY!
Sit back and ask yourself… “Why am I doing this? What is my ultimate goal? What is holding me back? How can I overcome my obstacles?” When you start asking yourself the right questions… you are the only person with the answers. Dig deep and find out what is really holding you back. You can do what no one else can… and that’s getting that tush out of bed in the morning and starting your day by taking care of YOU! So much of the day is taking care of others whether you have a high-paced job, you’re a mom, nurse, a teacher, personal trainer… the list goes on! It’s okay to take care of yourself first. Read some of our top tips HERE on getting that workout in first thing in the morning :) Or even late at night! Sometimes we find ourselves jogging at 8pm or heading to the gym late, because we know how much better we’ll feel when we go to sleep. The more you take care of yourself, the more love you can give in your life.
Also, for any of you that have taken a bootcamp with us, we always ask you right before you want to quit those planks, burpees or squat jumps… “Why are you here?” Did you show up, all dressed up for a workout to quit or to see it through? Did you really drive yourself to the gym to just sit there on your phone or to stop when it gets hard? Next time you want to quit, ask yourself why you are there in that moment… in that class, on the pavement running or in your living room working out with us. You’ll know the answer and we promise you’ll keep pushing through! Push your limits!
There’s nothing more powerful than a journal. To us, a journal is one of the best tools you can have in your fitness journey. It’s something that we really encourage in the Tone It Up Nutrition Program. Taking just a few moments a day will keep you centered, motivated and honest with yourself. It’s the one thing I do before bed every night!
