These Will Be Your Go-To Moves In 2018

We’re so excited for all the new things coming to this community in just a few days! Are you preppin’ for your 5 Day Detox? We’re all doing it together! It will be the best way to prepare your body and reset your system for the Series coming up!

Today we’re sharing a quick routine with some major sculpting perks. These are going to be our go-to moves for 2018 because of their total body toning benefits. Each move is designed to work every muscle of your body though balancing and HIIT. Try this routine out today as a little post-Christmas workout ;) And don’t forget your Holiday Hustle! Today we’re asking you to ring a friend for a FaceTime date…and you can even do this routine with her!

Plank Drag

Sculpts your core and shoulders!

Begin in a plank position with your hands on the ground, planted firmly beneath your shoulders. Place one dumbbell on the outside of your right hand. With your left hand, reach through to grab the dumbbell, dragging it to the outside of your left hand. Place your left hand back on the ground to the starting position.

Do 10 reps on each side, 20 reps total.

Ball Mountain Climbers

Tones your abs and shoulders!

Begin with your hands placed firmly on the ball and walk your feet out behind you so that your body forms a 45-degree angle. Keeping your back straight and your core engaged, lift your right knee into your chest and then place it back on the ground. Repeat with your left leg.

Do 10 reps on each side, 20 reps total.

Burpee + Tuck Jump

Tones your lower abs, thighs, and booty and boosts your metabolism!

Start in a squat position with your arms behind you, making sure that your knees don’t go past your toes. Use your arms to propel you straight up into the air. Bring your knees to meet your elbows in front of your core. Land softly on your feet back in a squat position, then place your hands on the ground and jump both legs out to a plank position. Jump both feet back into a squat position to return to starting position.

Do 15 reps.

Kettlebell Squat

Tones your booty, thighs, and shoulders and strengthens your core!

Begin standing with your legs slightly wider than hip-width apart. Hold the kettlebell with both hands in front of your chest as you squat down until your knees reach a 90-degree angle. Make sure your knees don’t go over your toes. Straighten your legs to return to starting position. Keep your core engaged throughout the move.

Do 20 reps.

Single Arm Swing

Increases your metabolism while engaging your core, inner thighs, and booty!

Begin with feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Sit back holding the weight in one hand. Swing the weight between your legs and bring forearms to inner thighs. Press your hips forward, swinging the weight up to shoulder level. Switch hands at the top, then lower back down.

Do 10 reps on each side, 20 reps total.
