Holiday Hustle For The Muscle Strength Training Workout

Hey babe! This is your daily reminder that you’re seriously SO stunning. Confidence is absolutely radiating from you. I’m sure we aren’t the only ones to notice either ~ your friends, family, and coworkers are probably all wondering how you got your gorgeous glow. Fueling your body with healthy foods and getting those Studio Tone It Up workouts in each day will do that for ya!

Karena and I are so inspired by the strength of this community, so today we’re sharing a workout that is all about STRENGTH for your Holiday Hustle Challenge! 💪🏻These moves are designed to sculpt your entire body. That’s why we love strength training so much. When you’re working with heavier weights, your body calls on so many different muscle groups. That way you’ll keep your metabolism revving and reveal sculpted, gorgeous, and STRONG muscles!

For this workout, we’re doing 31 reps of each move, one round each! You can pause whenever you need to, just get all those reps in! Eventually, you’ll get through all 31 without stopping ~ your strength will amaze you! You can also start with a heavier weight, then drop down to a lighter weight (aka drop set).

Single Arm Clean

Tones your booty, thighs, core, and shoulders!

Stand tall with feet wider than hip-width apart, holding a kettlebell or dumbbell in one hand by your side and keeping elbows in. Keep your back flat as you squat down until your thighs are parallel to the ground and knees stay in line with toes. As you squat down, drop the weight between your legs, almost touching the ground. Press up through your heels as you press the weight up to the sky above your shoulders. Pause at the top, and lower back down to repeat.

Complete 31 reps on each side.


Tones your booty, hamstrings, and lower abs!

Begin standing with legs hip-width apart with a slight bend in your knees, holding dumbbells in front of your hips. Slowly hinge forward at the hips as you lower the dumbbells down toward the ground, tracking the weights along your shins. Make sure to maintain a neutral spine and a slight bend in your knees. Use your booty to pull the weights back up and return to start.

Complete 31 reps.

Back Lunge + Tricep Extension

Sculpts your triceps, booty, and legs!

Begin standing feet hip-width apart and holding a dumbbell in both hands directly above your head. Raise your right knee toward your chest, then slowly lower it into a back lunge, keeping your left knee stacked over your toes. As you lunge, lower the dumbbell behind you. As you return to standing, extend your arms to the starting position.

Complete 31 reps on each side.

Turkish Getup

Sculpts your ENTIRE body!!

Begin laying on your back with your left leg straight and your right leg bent. Hold a dumbbell in your right hand above your shoulder. Place your left hand on the ground beside you. With your core engaged, begin to lift your upper body. Raise your hips into the air, keeping your left leg straight. Bend your left leg in to stand up and stack your hips under your shoulders, still holding the dumbbell above you. Stand up completely then reverse the movement to lay back in the starting position. Make sure you keep your eyes on the dumbbell throughout the move.

Complete 31 reps on each side, or as many as you can with good form.

Dumbbell Toss

Boosts your metabolism and tones your core, inner thighs, and booty!

Begin with feet a little wider than hip-width apart, holding a kettlebell or dumbbell in one hand. Sit back into a squat and swing the weight between your legs. Thrust hips forward, driving the weight to shoulder level and switch hands.

Complete 31 reps on each side.
