Tell us about yourself!

Hi, TIU Team! I am Jessica from Dallas, Texas. I have been married to 7 years to my biggest cheerleader and supporter. He is absolutely wonderful and a great encourager with my healthy journey. I am a school counselor and have the best job in the world! I am also a dog mom to two of the smartest and prettiest pups out there, Chuck Taylor and Lucy.

How much time spanned between your before & after photos?

18 months.

How did the Tone It Up Nutrition Plan contribute to your success?

It was everything! I saw the biggest differences when I completely changed my eating habits. I bought the Nutrition Plan in May of this year and in 3 months looked like a different person. I had more energy and toned up quickly. Even my husband loves the meals from the plan.

What was your biggest inspiration to make a change in your life?

Last year, I was hit by a truck while riding my bike. My ankle was shattered and 4 weeks later I was hospitalized again after my appendix ruptured. After my accident I didn’t think I would ever to be active again, but I knew sitting around and feeling sorry for myself would only make me feel worse. I decided to change because I wanted to feel better, to be more active and take care of the one thing I am guaranteed as long as I’m alive: my body.

How did you keep yourself motivated to keep going?

My husband’s compliments on my progress and changes as well as the entire TIU community have been my biggest motivations.

Did you have any setbacks along the way and how did you overcome them?

Absolutely! I remember why I started and all of the things I’ve overcome in the past. The Instagram TIU community also holds me accountable in the best way possible.

What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about yourself?

That I’m strong!! My body can do anything I put my mind to. I ran my first race a few weeks ago and was in the top 10% of finishers. I was never the athletic girl in high school so that was a huge accomplishment for me. I also learned that I really like seafood; I had never tried it before.

What advice would you give someone who needs encouragement to get healthier?

 The Nutrition Plan is completely worth it!! I am only sad I waited so long into my journey to buy it. It’s never too late to get started. Also, get involved in the TIU community because they will encourage you through the ups and downs.

What are your favorite Tone It Up Nutrition Plan meals and snacks?

I love the Avo Dreamy Shake, Lemon Garlic Chicken, Coconut and Macadamia Crusted Mahi Mahi, and Salmon Avocado Mango Salad are just a few favorites.

What is your favorite TIU workout?

So many of them! Bikini Arms, Bikini Abs and Bikini Yoga are my go-tos!
