You’ll Never Guess What Makes This Smoothie Taste So Amazing

We have a fave new smoothie that tastes SO GOOD and has some pretty amazing health perks. The secret ingredient: dried figs. Each lil' fig delivers vitamin B6 that helps lower your homocysteine levels, which decreases your risk for heart disease. Figs also contain potassium that your body needs to prevent muscle fatigue post workout. And they add a ridiculous boost of flavor that your taste buds aren't expecting! Drink up, buttercup! ;)

Tone It Up Nutrition Plan Review

      1. Do we have to wait until after the 7 day slim down challenge to try this? Because the meal plan doesn’t list smoothies or approved M4s angmore – looks like we are in the final push!!

  1. I absolutely LOVE dried figs! I discovered them last summer and couldn’t get enough! Adding them to smoothies will be perfect, thanks girls! :)

  2. Is there anything you can use in place of the protein powder? I am autoimmune so I am very careful about what I am eating and I stay away from basically everything lol. :) thanks

  3. Enjoying this right now in the middle of a busy day; teaching two yoga classes and keeping myself in check by taking barre in between. Thanks girls for the quick and tasty boost!

  4. This is delicious. I replaced the figs with dates because I had them on hand. I’m surprised this is one serving because I got two large smoothies out of it! I ended up putting half aside for tomorrow’s breakfast. I love TIUs smoothie recipes so much!
