TIU Approved Pumpkin Spice Creamer

Our Pumpkin Spice creamer is a velvety dream. It’s dairy-free and contains only natural sugar. The trick here is using dates to create a syrup-like sweetener that’s completely natural.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6

    dates, pitted

  • 1/2

    cup warm water

  • 2

    cups unsweetened almond milk

  • 2

    Tbs. pumpkin puree

  • 1

    tsp. pumpkin spice

  • dash of cinnamon

  • 1

    tsp. vanilla extract

  • 2

    Tbs. coconut oil

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: Soak dates in warm water for about 5 minutes to soften. Once soft, remove the pits and throw out the water. Add 1/2 a cup of new, warm water to your blender along with the pitted dates and blend. Continue blending until a syrup-like paste forms.
STEP 2: Next, add remaining ingredients and continue blending for about 3-5 minutes, until smooth. Store in a mason jar or sealed container in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to 4 days. Feel free to warm it up a little before pouring into your coffee!

    1. Hi Laura!
You can try any non-dairy milk of your choice with this recipe, like coconut milk!
Let us know how it turns out! ;)

  1. Does it have to be pumpkin spice? I like the fact that it has fiber, if I took the pumpkin spice and pumpkin puree out and kept everything else, would it still have dietary fiber? I’m just not a huge pumpkin spice fan but I would really love a healthy creamer I could make on the reg.

  2. LOVE this! So does my hubby, I crave pumpkin everything in the Fall and this is such a great substitute for all the unhealthy sugar filled creamers in stores.

  3. Has anyone tried to freeze this? If so, how did it turn out?

Can’t wait to try out this recipe this week!!

    1. Megan, did you ever find it? I love it too! :) Also did anyone try this? How was it!?
