The Blueberry Mint Sangria of Your DREAMS

It's summer time and we're feelin' like some sangria! We partnered with the Blueberry Council to make this totally Tone It Up Nutrition Plan approved white wine sangria. This was a huge hit at the HQ ~ everyone had a glass...or two. ;) We love the sweet burst of blueberry combined with the refreshing minty flavor. Because we swapped the usual oranges and apples for blueberries, this drink only takes a few minutes to put together. No peeling or chopping required! It's perfect for an outdoor BBQ in the summer heat. Make a pitcher and invite all your girlfriends over for the ultimate #TIUgirl get-together!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2

    bottles dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio

  • 1

    bunch fresh mint

  • 2

    cups fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 10

    oz. sparkling water

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: Combine white wine and mint in a large pitcher or punch bowl. Muddle the mint into the wine. Add blueberries and put in the fridge for 4-6 hours or overnight.
STEP 2: When serving, pour sangria into glasses and top each serving with 1 oz. sparkling water.
