Coconut Snowflake Protein Balls

Hi babe! Can you believe it’s already December?!

We spent the week in festive and frosty NYC with all the beautiful holiday storefronts and decorations. And at home in Manhattan Beach, the pier is decorated with twinkling lights and gorgeous wreaths. It makes the beach feel like a sandy winter wonderland! ❄️

Speaking of a winter wonderland, we were inspired by the hustle of the holiday season and the snow of our East Coast hometowns to create today’s recipe! With parties to attend and gifts to shop for, it’s important to have easy, delicious healthy treats on hand. That way, we can stay more present in experiencing every moment of the holidays.

This recipe was created for you ~ badass babe on the go! These Coconut Snowflake Bites are packed with plant based protein powder, so you can stash a few in your gym bag for a post-workout snack. Plus, they pretty much double as cookie dough 😋

Enjoy babe!

  1. Beautiful! Any suggestions for a replacement for the cashew butter?

  2. I am so excited to try these!! Can I swap the oat flour for almond flour? I have a big bag I need to use up haha.

  3. I love protein balls for a snack and now I have a new favourite! Delicious!

  4. Swapped the cashew butter for coconut butter and left out the dates. Definitely my favourite so far!

  5. I just made these and they are SO YUMMY! I used almond butter instead of cashew, and did a combo of 1/2 cup oat flour and 1/4 cup rolled oats instead of a full 3/4 cup oat flour. I rolled them in extra coconut as suggested because my husband and I love coconut 😁. Thanks for always giving us such delicious and nutritious recipes!

  6. OMG these are insanely good <3 I made them last night, and i literally couldn't contain my excitement from my roommate…,"this tastes JUST like cookie dough!!"

  7. Hi. I neither have cashew butter nor almond butter. Can I use organic unsweetened peanut butter instead?

    1. Hi babe! We haven’t tried it with peanut butter but it should work! Let us know how it is ;)

  8. Finally just got around to making these! I made a few modifications and they still turned out to my liking : i subbed coconut flour for oat flour, omitted the dates, added a bit more maple syrup and stirred by hand because i dont own a food processor. These are quite sweet, so if you need a sweet fix, these are for you.

  9. I loved this recipe ! So delicious and sweet, it hits the spot and replaces my chocolate craving strangely :)
Any other ideas for protein balls like these?

  10. These are so good! We pressed them into heart-shaped molds to make them extra cute. Got my bestie to eat one instead of cookies!

  11. I made these with peanut butter and omitted the dates and these are amazing! Perfect on the go post workout treat!

  12. I made these today and they are absolutely amazing!! My first time making protein balls. And will definitely be using this recipe over & over 😍🥥
