Cinnamon Roll Bites!

'Tis the season for one of favorite holiday treats... Cinnamon Rolls! They’re filled with honey & cinnamon, Omega-3 fatty acids, and rich in nutrients that will leave you satisfied. INGREDIENTS

  • 1

    cup almond meal

  • 1/2

    cup vanilla Perfect Fit Protein

  • 1/4

    tsp. salt

  • 1/2

    Tbs. baking soda

  • 1

    Tbs. baking powder

  • 2

    Tbs. unsweetened apple sauce

  • 2

    Tbs. unsweetened almond milk

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1/4

    cup flaxseed meal

  • 1

    tsp. cinnamon

  • 2

    Tbs. dark brown sugar

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: Preheat oven to 350° degrees. Mix all dry & wet ingredients together separately. Combine wet mixture into dry and stir until fully incorporated. Form dough into one ball and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes. Place dough onto parchment paper with a piece of parchment paper on top. Roll out the dough out, 1/4-1/2″ inch thick. Then cut into 5 strips.
STEP 2: Drizzle about 1/4 cup of honey and 2 tbsp of cinnamon on top. Roll up each strip slowly and smooth out any cracks. Cut each roll in half or quarters. Sprinkle the tops with more cinnamon if you want. Place the rolls into a greased pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Add a dollop of plain greek yogurt or almond yogurt on top and sprinkle with cinnamon
