INGREDIENTS

  • 2

    shots espresso

  • 1/4

    cup greek yogurt

  • 1/4

    tsp. vanilla extract (or 1 fresh vanilla bean, seeded)

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: In a bowl, combine greek yogurt and vanilla extract or fresh vanilla bean. If using fresh vanilla, cut in half and scrape the inside seeds into the bowl. Stir until well combined and freeze for 30 minutes.
STEP 2: In a small bowl or cup, scoop the frozen greek yogurt in. Top with 2 shots warm espresso.

AUTHOR NOTES

This is a traditional dessert coffee to serve after meals on special occasions. It's usually made with espresso over ice cream or gelato. We made it #TIUapproved by trading the sugary ice cream for a homemade frozen yogurt! If you're sensitive to caffeine, we recommend swapping in decaf espresso.
