Karena Dawn and Katrina Scott of Tone It Up chat with Marie Forleo about how to find success in your career and find your passion.

Morning gorgeous! When we released our first chat with Marie Forleo on finding success in your career, we got a flood of messages from this community. We heard from so many of you girls about how you’re hustlin’ hard, and you had even more questions for Marie.

So today we’re bringing back the boss babe entrepreneur and founder of Marie TV and B-School to chat about how to find your passion, the mindset shift you need to succeed, and why bartending was one of her most valuable jobs.

Watch the video below to get her game-changing advice and tell us in the comments…what topics do you want us to tackle next?

  1. What an amazing coffee chat, I love everything that was said. Katrina especially the”here I am, there you are” comment. Such a true statement. I also love what was said about changing the dynamic in a room, and bringing your best everyday. What a great way to start the day. You guys are the best:)

  2. This is very good! I think people underestimate how much work it takes to ‘succeed’. First, we must define what success is, to ourselves. This might be different than what we see on Instagram. Second, I think that there’s a lot of falsity all around. People don’t like to talk about how much work it takes to get where they got: that’s not sexy. Babe in that video hustled waitressing and bartending and kept a good attitude until the right door opened for her – this is what it takes. I’m tired of seeing the perfect shots of influencers online.

    1. I totally agree with you! I’m an entrepreneur and I’m working at the check-in counter at a yoga studio to support myself right now. It is not sexy at all and sometimes I feel like such a loser. It takes hard work and dedication but above all to believe in yourself.

      1. Madeleine, just a note :) check-in people at yoga studios are so important ! They can make a studio feel like family and totally brighten someone’s day which had a huge impact on the persons workout experience 🖤 definitely an important job.

        1. YES!! Everyone who works at a studio is such an important part of making it special and helping other women become their healthiest selves. Always remember that you’re a huge part of that and your hard work is so worth it! xxo

  3. This video really helped me slay the crankies today ^_^ Thank you so much, ladies!

  4. I love this message. I want to share it with the world!

At work, we were tasked to share with our team what motivates us. Of course I have my beautiful daughters, loving husband, amazing friends and family – but what is it that motivates me? I still struggle with this one. I find myself always wondering what I’m passionate about? What I want to be when I grow up? I put so much worry into it. The truth is, I need to live in the present! Bring joy and light to the moment! This was my favorite coffee chat yet! XO

    1. So glad you loved it Ashley!! And you’re right ~ it’s so important to live with joy in the present 💗

  5. Love this, such important points and very inspirational. This is a must share with my teenage daughters!

    1. So glad to hear you’re sharing this with your daughters! Sending you and your fam lots of love 🤗
