    1. Katrina says:

Just real quick about acne– my niece was struggling with it and the dr finally prescribed Minocycline (50mg once a day). It cleared it up really fast and it’s pretty safe. It’s basically an antibiotic that kills the bacteria hiding in your skin. loved the video :) xoxo

  3. Silvia says:

I think it’s really cool that TIU paired with such an affordable/cute line.

  4. Karli says:

Yes!!! I’ve been needing some of this advice, especially the time of the month, thanks gals! Can’t wait to put the kiddos down for bed so I can watch tonight :)

  5. Lindsey Gray says:

I loved this video! Looking forward to more!

  6. Andrea says:

I love when ya’ll do videos like this. Question 1) We always go to a workout class or we get a big group together and take over the gym. 2) My favorite is actually the tiu margarita. 3) Water and books 4) I like to do yoga and meditate on my faith 5) I try to re-evaluate what’s causing the negativity and find what’s positive around me 6) I shop at Academy. There is nothing better than a good pair of leggings and a baggy shirt to go on top. 7) I wake up every morning and get in my workout. If I have a long night and sleep extra in the morning, I make sure I exercise right after work. 8) Ibuprofen and yoga 9) I have a very sedentary job. So every hour I make a point to get up and walk around. 10) I have 2 tricks. I constantly use sun screen and I use Coconut Oil in my hair on days that I wash my hair. I have sunscreen in my moisturizer and some in my make up.

  7. Sylvia says:

Workouts to make you taller: don’t forget Pilates! No joke, I gained 1/2 an inch!

  8. Megan Martineau says:

Love this! Please do more of these!! :)

  9. faeryinloveinc says:

    1. I haven’t gotten my #tiuboyfriend to work out with me except for a couple of hikes he’s gone on with me. He does however LOVE all the healthy foods that I make. He makes the best smoothies and even uses Perfect Fit protein. 2. I love the Moscow Mule recipe TIU shared made with Gingeraide Kombucha and the Kombucha sangria. 3. Fit Fierce and Fabulous! I’m having a hard time reading much for pleasure with work and school, but I also like to listen to books on tape in the car. I’m listening to a fantasy series called Wheel of Time right now. 4. I rely on my support network of my friends and family. 5. I always try and look on the bright side of a situation and believe that everything will turn out all right. 6. I love Lululemon, but it can be pretty pricey. I love Fabletics, Old Navy, discount stores like Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack. Zella, Nordstrom’s athletic brand, and the Free People active lines are also my favorite to get cute functional pieces. 7. I get up for a Booty Call of at least 30 minutes 4-5 times per week, and I schedule classes in the afternoons 3-4 times per week. I like to go to a class immediately after work, because if I go home, I’m not likely to leave again after a long day at work. 8. If I’m craving something bad, I try and think of a healthier alternative like making banana nice cream instead of going for the Ben and Jerry’s. 9. I love the Acics Gel Kayanos! 10. Coconut oil and rosewater toner. Also, I recently got a copper hairbrush that helps with a flaky scalp. 11. I like to do squats, wall push ups, or abductor crunches every time I use the bathroom at work. I also try and take the longest route possible back to my desk. 12. Sunscreen! I never go outside without at least having some on my face. Too much sun ages you so fast!

    1. toneitupcom says:

ooo!! We need to try the copper hairbrush trick!!!! I have so many flakes :P

      1. Katherine Thousand says:

A SUPER cheap and easy fix for flakes – Ask your doc/derm for a script for ketoconazole shampoo. The stuff WORKS! It was like $5 cash price at Target… It’s literally the only thing that finally cleared up the problem after spending my whole life fighting it. After your initial few uses, just use it as needed ;)

    2. lindsay says:

Where is the moscow mule recipe? They are my favorite, but I can’t find a recipe in any of the plans or when I do a search on the site… Thanks!

      1. faeryinloveinc says:

I think it was in a member’s email a while back. Basically you muddle lime and mint in a glass, pour in a shot of vodka, add ice, and fill the glass with ginger kombucha. Very refreshing!

  10. Silvia says:

What a great video!!! You girls are the best!

  11. Courtney OKeefe says:

Loved this!! 1. We workout separately but during the bikini series we did 5k Sundays together. 2. I love a glass or 2 of white wine. 3. I cant make it through books like that but I do love a good read, its very relaxing. 4. Positive self talk or envision everything going right. 5. If Im stressed out about something sometimes I just need to talk it out with my BFF. 6. I shop at TJ Maxx/Marshalls, $88 pants for $16 yes please, they might not be “cool” brands but they work for a girl on a budget. 7. Sometimes I dont have a balanced day but instead of beating myself up I just try again tomorrow and makw changes to make things happen. 8. I DONT lol Im always too sick and fatigued, its awful, if theres ever a way I want to be the first to know! 9. I am a Nike addict, they just work best with my feet. 11. Moisturizing skin and hair is the best thing ever!

  12. Acushla-Tara says:

To power through stress and fear I do two things: Breathe and repeat my mantra. Deep breaths help me to calm myself and focus my thoughts before attacking a stressful situation. I’m an actor so stress is part of every day as I head out on stage in front of hundreds of people each night. I have done this in a middle of a conversation too and although it can sometime elicit an odd look for the other person, it helps me immensely. I also have a few mantras at hand for those difficult situations. The key one that has worked for me over the past few months in ‘good things come to those that hustle’. It helps to remind me the tough times will be worth it eventually, as long as I align these situations with my goals.

  13. Liana Haven says:

Amazing video as always! As a pre-medical student, I am almost always stressed; between work, classes, personal time and social time it is sometimes very hectic. To center myself I usually hop on here and do a yoga routine and lots of stretching to relax and be active at the same time, and then drink tea! Tea always soothes me, and as a bonus keeps me hydrated :)

  14. Ashley Anne Schjoneman says:

    1. The partner workouts are quick and so much fun! Even if he doesn’t want to incorporate ALL of the TIU workouts, you can totally do the partner ones and make it fun for the both of you!! I love going on gym dates late at night with my man too!! Less people and more room so you don’t have to wait to use equipment! BONUS ;)
    2. I love mimosas (not exactly TIU approved) but I love when K&K say to do half wine and half soda water or I’ll add La Croix to cut calories in 1/2 and then I don’t feel icky after! :)
    3. My 3 beach babe DVDs, Fit Fierce Fab, water, seashells in a mason jar, grocery list, charger…
    4. I power through stress & fear by taking all of that and using it to really push through a workout… and I love taking risks and stepping outside of the what I’m comfortable with.. just go for it!! No regrets!!
    5. Each day is so precious to me and I feel like being positive makes me happy and makes others happy too.. I like to think that I have a more carefree, mellow kind of attitude when it comes to life… I don’t let things get me down.. When I have a bad day, or I’m feeling down, I will come home and journal or do a workout and then I feel so much better about myself.
    6. I love shopping for fitness gear at TJ Maxx, Target, Old Navy, H&M, Forever 21… :)
    7. I wake up 30 min early every day to get in a bootycall workout regardless of what I have going on that day…. When I take that extra time for myself, I’m starting the day on a good note and that makes me happy.
    8. I definitely crave sweet & salty things…. I guess I have some work to do because I dig in to the sweets and anything that will satisfy the craving…. I have been eating more greek yogurt with fruit or baking with PFP so I don’t feel as bad about my binge ;) so that helps a lot!! The 3 ingredient cookies—-YUM!!
    9. I’m not a runner, so I don’t know what the best shoes are for this.
    10. Exfoliating 2x a week, using the TIU sea algae mask 3x a week. (I love the new mask!!) <3 It's amazing!! and making sure I take off my makeup every night before bed.
    11. My top tips for sneaking in fitness throughout the day: sometimes I'll do squats every time I go to the bathroom=10 squats! :) I walk a lot at my full-time job too!! Just keep moving!!
    12. Coconut oil to remove my makeup/moisturize (THANKS FOR THIS TIP KARENA!!!) :) I love it so much. ((The extra virgin coconut oil)) so gentle yet effective on my dry skin. I also don't use heat on my hair anymore. I let it air dry after a shower and then scrunch it for natural beachy waves! (I use the K&K sea salt spray)) <3 and it smells divine!! and ever since I stopped using flat irons, blow dryers etc… my hair has been so much healthier!!!

    Xoxoxox!!!

  15. Meghan Hunt says:

Beauty tricks: I wash my face twice a day, in the morning with Burt’s Bees Deep Cleansing Cream and before bed with Burt’s Deep Pore Scrub (I have combination skin). Afterwards I use Boots Botanics Mattefying Moisturizer with SPF for day and Origins Night-A-Mins at night. And once a month I use a clay face mask for my skin and a blob of extra virgin coconut oil combed through my hair. I leave both on for 15 minutes and rinse well with my usual products in the shower. I’m 30, but people confuse me for the college students I teach all the time. These products really work!

  16. Elisa says:

Thank you for this video! Just what I needed today. You have such a great attitude and take on life. Shows again how beautiful you both are inside and out <3

  17. catherine says:

I have found that for keeping my skin clear 1. Don’t use products targeted towards acne, they dry out your skin too much and strip it of its natural oils, which actually increases oil production. Seriously, I used to have cystic bacne and when i stopped using acne body wash on that area it went away. Now i like to use really natural/organic soap and sensitive skin formulas and even though i sweat a lot and get grimy at the barn (horse lover) i only get a few clogged pores but never big zits. Also, don’t over exfoliate, I only exfoliate when i really feel like i need it, probably 3 times a week. I use to use scrubby face wash everyday and that also kept my skin aggravated. This is huge and if you use benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid for acne, i would really encourage you try going without these for a few weeks. If it doesn’t work you can always go back to it. This is kind of a rant but i hate seeing women struggle with this and they think they are helping their skin by using these harsh chemicals but really they are just keeping it aggravated and it would probably clear up if they were more gentle to it. Also use a high quality makeup that won’t clog your pores if you wear makeup, i very rarely wear it anymore 2. eliminate dairy, especially lower quality dairy. and gluten. I occasionally have a small amount of feta, but if I start having more of these i definitely notice a difference in my skin. I can also eat a cup of grass-fed full fat yogurt without problems, but I don’t overdo that. Also I seem not to tolerate chocolate well at all so i stay away, but that might just be personal to me.

    1. Katherine Thousand says:

I think the diet part tends to be highly personal (as with anything – I can eat dairy with every meal and not have a problem) but I do fully agree with not clogging your pores! It’s helpful to find moisturizers and makeup that say noncomedogenic… I also recently “discovered” Clinique foundation, with is so far the only one that doesn’t make me break out :)

    2. catherine says:

totally agree katherine! i think its a great thing to try for troubleshooting. i also personally think bare minerals is great makeup, never broke my skin out and provides good coverage

    3. Sophia Bella says:

I agree, once I went vegan my skin completely cleared up. I only get breakouts from makeup now. I have to be careful on what I put on my skin. Have you tried swapping milk chocolate for dark chocolate? it might help.

      1. catherine says:

lol i have quite the opposite problem. it seems to be something about cocoa itself that makes me feel totally sick and have a headache, my guess is theobromine which is what makes it toxic to dogs. so dark chocolate has a more pronounced effect, but i hate milk chocolate anyway. i use carob to replace cocoa powder in recipes.

  18. Quinn says:

Fave healthy cocktail: white wine w/ La Croix and a dash of Malibu over ice
Bedside book: Carry on Warrior…go read it now!!!
And monthly feature..yes yes!!! Next question for you…How to stay on track working out with, and recovering, from an injury? Like low impact moves that still get your heart rate up?

    1. Margaret says:

Ooh, il have to try your cocktail! I’ve just fallen in love with lacroix. What kind of white wine?

      1. Quinn says:

We used just some cheap, boxed wine…a chardonnay I think but something on the dry-rather than sweet-end would probably be best. Chears!

  19. Erin says:

    1. How do you workout with your partner in crime?
My 8 year old daughter and four year old son do TIU workouts with me; they love yoga. My BF and I take long walks and lift weights together.

    2. What’s your favorite healthy cocktail?
La Crema Chardonay. I limit my drinking by only having what I really love. If it isn’t a perfect Sidecar cocktail I don’t bother, if it isn’t good wine, I don’t bother.

    3. What’s on your bedside right now?
Fit, Fierce and Fabulous! I love the daily practice of motivation, reflection and visualization. What am I going to do when the 28 days are over????

    4. What do you do to power through stress and fear?
I remember my why. Most of the time that is easy, my kids, my BF, my sister etc. But somedays my why may just be that I really like buying shoes and if I don’t crush the fear I won’t be able to buy more shoes. Or travel, or eat at nice places…all the tings I love. Just say’n.

    5. How do stay positive during stressful times?
I am a very optimistic person. I always remember what a wise woman once told me, “God didn’t get you past all the sharks in trecherous water to shoot you on the beach.” Things always get better.

    6. Where do you shop!? What is your favorite fitness gear?
I love my TIU gear. It motivates me and I meet so many TIU team members by rocking my hats. I also shop Fabletics, Lulu Lemon, Athleta, and Target. My favorite shoes are Asics and Adidas. My fav piece right now is a pair of Lorna Jane pants I picked up in Vegas.

    7. How do you fit in exercise with a busy schedule? How do you balance it all?
I get up at 4am. I also try to make working out a family time activity on the weekends or when I have to squeeze a workout in at night.

    8. How do you girls deal?
I try to be very gentle with myself and nice to myself during those special times. Regular protein is very important during PMS for me to stay balanced or else I get crazy cranky and irritable. (What up Perfect Fit?) I keep protein powder and a shaker bottle with me at all times. Also, having a healthy routine during the other weeks of the month sets me up for success. If I give in to a craving I let it go and move on to healthy food the next day or the next meal; it’s just chocolate (or pizza, or wine) it won’t kill me if it’s every now and then.

    9. What are your healthy skin tips!
I’m 41 so acne has pretty much left the building so I put coconut oil on my face, body and hair about once a week before bed.

    10. Your top tips for sneaking in fitness throughout the day.
It’s early AM or nothing. For a busy, working, single mother of two its just the only way. I occassionaly do make-up sessions or what I like to call bonus workouts in the evening while my kids eat dinner. They like to laugh at my silly moves.

    11. What’s your #1 beauty trick!?

I mentioned the coconut oil above. I use it all over, all the time.

  20. Ashley Stegner says:

    1) My PIC and I workout at the gym together doing all kinds of fun partner exercises! We do ball tosses, pass arounds, plank patty cake, and other fun workouts :) 2) I love wine spritzers! 3) I’m reading “Go Set a Watchman” right now 4) Water! I also talk it out with friends, and hit the gym 5) I express gratitude daily. I went through a stressful time as a long term sub and I used the support system I had at home and work, along with doing 3-4 workouts a week to help destress. 6) I get my workout gear from Old Navy (I absolutely LOVE the Activewear line!) and Under Armour. I wear Nikes and Asics for my sneakers. 7) I have a personal trainer that helps me stay accountable–I see her twice a week, and I also teach a fitness class at my gym, so I have to be there for that! I try to get to a few of the other fitness classes at my gym, and I do what I can where I can! 8) Walk! I also will go up and down the stairs at home for 5 minutes every hour to get my heart pumping. I work in a big school, and have to walk around a lot so it’s pretty easy to fit in those steps every day ;-) 9) #1 beauty trick is to keep it simple! Eye liner and mascara go a long way! A simple swipe of a good lip color to top it off, and I’m out the door.

  21. Margaret says:

Love this! It should definitely be a monthly feature! I would love to hear your thoughts on babies, and staying healthy and fit pre-pregnancy…you girls are such an inspiration! I love your #fitfiercefab book!

  22. Beckii says:

    * To workout with my partner in crime I usually go on a long bike ride, go for a walk, run, or a gym sesh! * Nothing beats a great Pina Colada!!! My fav! *On my Bedside table right now is a book, lamp and water *To power through stress and fear I just breath I think about how someone else would handle it better and then apply that feeling myself to feel powerful than stressful *I literally cannot pick a favourite for my fitness gear, I go all over the place and pick what looks good and what wont wear away easily. *I have really bad cramps like Katrina so I usually take paracetamol and go for a good run and try to stay standing as when I sit down I feel they get too comfortable and get worse. Otherwise I’ll just make a time schedule of the day and find a 1 or 2 hour slot for the workout. * When I wait for the kettle to boil I’ll do deadlifts, every time I go to the loo I’ll challenge myself to 10-20 squats, I try and walk as much as I can and especially if i’m busy and if i’m watching TV i’ll do some leg toning :) * I use a face wipe before bed and if i’m at home all day and don’t have to go out I wont bother with any make up to keep my face fresh whenever I can as I get super bad acne! Lastly, I drink coconut water & milk (YUM) and take an extra Vitamin C drink everyday which has made my nails longer and chip less! :) xx

  23. jessapal says:

I first want to say I loved this video!! It was so cute and was also very inspirational
1.)How do you workout with your partner in crime?
I’ve actually gotten my boyfriend and his guy roommates to do the
bikini ab workout with Karena. They finished the workout but were
huffing and puffing afterwards. My one bestie and I have tone it up
days where we’ll do workouts together and cook a yummy tiu meal
    afterwards
    2.)What’s your favorite healthy cocktail?
I love love love the espresso martini recipe with almond milk,
espresso vodka and coffee. It’s delicious, wakes me up and is a
    healthy indulgence.
3.)What’s on your bedside right now?
Next to my bed is my nook because I am a total book worm and love reading
before bed, along with my phone and tone it up water bottle so I make
    sure I’m properly hydrated :)
4.)What do you do to power through stress and fear?
I’ve honestly found that working out is such a great stress reliever
for me. Especially if I’m at work and am having a tough day, knowing
I can workout at home during my lunch break helps me because I always
feel refreshed and recharged after a workout.
5.) How do you stay positive? Share an example of stress and how you overcame
    it!
I stay positive by telling myself that the stress I’m feeling can be
controlled by myself and how I deal with it. I know its a feeling
that takes me over in the moment but I visualize being at home with
my kittycat and bf in comfy pjs with a glass of wine and that centers
me. A big example of stress for me is at work because my job is
basically 90% emails and a lot of times people can be rude through
emails. I overcome this stress by taking deep breaths and even just
stepping outside to get some fresh air helps a thousand times over.
When I walk back in then I have a clean slate in my head and can look
at the issue in a different light.
6.)Where do you shop!? What is your favorite fitness gear?
My favorite stores to shop at are H&M, Forever 21, Old Navy and
Kohls. My favorite fitness gear is comfy, funky patterns that wake me
up. I have a few workout shirts that have inspirational sayings on
    them that I love too.
7.) How do you fit in exercise with a busy schedule? How do you balance it
    all?
To fit my workouts in it’s key that I get up for my bootycall and start
my day off right. I also am very fortunate to work close to home so I
can fit in hump day hiit or one of the awesome quick workouts that
have recently come out. Then, when I get out of work I complete my pm
workout, and then cook dinner and relax.
    8. How to deal with cravings, bloating, cramps and mood swings
during that time of the month-
Ok this is tough because I want to eat the world when it’s my time
of the month. However, I have found that working out does help
with mood swings and bloating. To curb cravings, I prep for that
a little bit before I get my period by picking out some healthy
snacks that will satisfy that sweet and crunchy addiction. Kind
bars have that great balance for me as well as apples with
natural peanut butter. I’ll also have a piece of dark chocolate
if I am really craving chocolate or make ice cream with frozen
bananas, some dark chocolate chips, organic cacao powder and
    shredded all natural coconut.
9.) Your top tips for sneaking in fitness throughout the day
My day will start with a bootycall and during lunch I’ll go for a walk
if I can’t make it home. I also sometimes do squats in the stalls in
the bathroom and always make sure I have good posture when I’m
sitting at a desk all day.
    10.) What’s your #1 beauty trick!?
One of my new favorite tricks is dabbing a tiny tiny bit of essential
oils on my wrist in the morning (I love lilac and jasmine). I also
love coffee scrubs because not only do I love the smell but it wakes
me up and can also help with cellulite.

5.)How do you stay positive?

6.) Where do you shop!?

First I want to say I loved this video! You should do more without a doubt! <3

    1. Usually we do workouts on our own, but when we workout together it's something simple like a walk :) (soon we're talking about doing some yoga together) 2. My favorite healthy cocktail is a sangria made with red wine, fruit flavored vodka and sprite zero and chopped up fruit! 3. On my bedside: nail polish, The Martian Chronicles (for Science Fiction Lit this semester) and my Advanced Nutrition textbook. 4. To power through stress and fear I use the Buddhify app and go through a guided meditation, or I give myself a pep talk. Positive self talk always helps me! 5. I stay positive with the help of my boyfriend and friends who always keep me positive. 6. I shop at the nicest resale shops I can find for good clothes at a cheap cost, for workout clothes I love fabletics! 7. I fit workouts into my schedule by having a plan. If I know I have to get up and out extremely early, I make sure I schedule time to workout at night. If I have time in the morning, I wakeup and fit it in after my breakfast settles! 8. For period pains I sip ginger or peppermint tea and take a magnesium pill when I feel extra cramps. Also, I let myself have a small piece of dark chocolate every night :)
    9. I sneak in fitness throughout the day by doing squats when I brush my teeth, taking a break from homework and walking around the block or doing a short TIU video! :) 10. My #1 beauty trick is take off your makeup at night! Always!! and use coconut oil for everrrryyyythingggg including shaving, cuticle oil, lotion, hair, etc.

  26. samantha says:

i just love you girls! thank you so much for doing a video like this… i love the workout videos (obvs), but seeing videos like this and the beauty/behind the scenes type videos where we get to know you as people, that is totally my favorite part! its always nice to be reminded that you are average girls, just like we are! thanks for being you :)

Also, just wondering what brand you use for tinted SPF on your face that you mentioned in the video? thanks k&k !!

  27. Renee says:

My boyfriend and I workout together almost every weekend! I just make sure I pick one that he’ll be interested in (pretty much just leaving out the booty ones lol)- he’s really into the TIU HIIT videos. Or we’ll go to the gym and do a treadmill routine (he runs wayyy too fast to run together outside!) It’s a great chance for us to hang out, and I love that he sees how hard the workouts are that I’m always doing. Plus it’s huge motivation!

  28. Katie says:

I love that you just talked about Eckhart Tolle! Made my day! Life changing! And gratitude – these things changed my life!

I missed being part of the Q&A with KK. I really wanted to check if I can subscribe for nutrition plan as I stay in India. Not sure if it is modified as per the Indian food requirements. I’m really eager to transform my body for a better health. Could you help with the same.

Hi K & K! I would love to know your opinion on the raw till 4 lifestyle or high carb low fat vegan lifestyle, monomeals, etc. I’ve been incorporating this more and more as I become more committed to being vegan but would love to know your opinion on whether it’s truly healthy for you. Thanks!

Favourite cocktail is an East African special called a Dawa (means medicine in Swahili) It is a bit of vodka, with limes, splash of honey and soda water. YUM!

  34. Madeline McGuire says:

Would love to hear the name of the tinted sunscreen you use!!

Karena, I would really really like to know what Sports Bra you are wearing? where exactly did you get the purple floral design sports bra you are wearing??? I really like it, and would love to add that to my fitness wardrobe. would love if you could answer my question. Or if anyone else knows that would be great

  36. Liesl says:

    1. How do you workout with your partner in crime?
Well, I’m single, but I do have a dog! I usually workout in my basement, and she comes down and joins me. Usually she just lies down and watches, but when I do any jumping she runs around the room, and during stretching, so enjoys licking my arm. :P

    2. What’s your favorite healthy cocktail?
    Hmm I don’t know of a healthy cocktail. I like long island’s.

    3. What’s on your bedside right now?

I read quite a bit. I’m in two YA-focused book clubs, so read a lot of YA novels (about to start I Am Princess X), and since I’m a librarian I read a lot of book blogs so try to read books that get a lot of press and good reviews. I also enjoy self-help books. I just bought Marie Kondo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying-Up.

    4. What do you do to power through stress and fear?
I like what you had to say about starting your business–a friend and I have been talking about lately how we both have things we want to do or try, but are afraid of failing, so it’s always good to hear that encouragement. To get through stress and fear I talk it over with friends and mentors I trust and admire.

    5. How do you stay positive?
I used to talk things over with my mom, so it’s been hard with her passing to find that person who encourages and uplifts me. I read positive blogs and watch cute animal videos. :)

    6. Where do you shop!? What is your favorite fitness gear?
I’ve been really needing new workout clothes that are affordable, so I’ll have to checkout Old Navy. In the past I get a lot of my stuff from Target or Dick’s Sporting Goods. I also like Athleta’s stuff, although that’s a bit of a splurge.

    7. How do you fit in exercise with a busy schedule? How do you balance it all?
I workout after work. I still haven’t masted getting up early to workout before work. You definitely have to schedule it and stick with it–which is a problem of mine. I’m not so good at keeping appts. with myself.

    8. How to deal with cravings, bloating, cramps and mood swings during that time of the month?
I’ve started tracking my period the last few years and that helps both to know when my next period is coming, but so then I can recognize whether my emotional reaction is hormonal or not. I’ve been fairly lucky in that I don’t often get cramps and when I do they’re mild. I crave cheesy things, and of course, chocolate. I usually allow myself to give into the cravings. :P

    9. Our favorite running sneakers!
I just a new pair of Nike cross-trainers. Hopefully they work out!

    10. What are your healthy skin tips!
Coconut oil! I use it for more and more things. Some say it’s hype, but I think it’s awesome and so multi-functional. Love it on my skin. I’ve also started doing face masks more regularly, 1-2 times a week. I need to be better at moisturizing the rest of my skin since I definitely notice a difference when I do vs. when I don’t.

    11. Are there workouts that can make you taller?
I try to pay more attention to my posture and how I carry myself–it’s tough! I’m so used to slouching, I think it’s a habit I picked up to make myself feel “smaller”.

    12. Does your hair get damaged from being out in the sun? How do you repair it and get your hair to grow?
My hair seems to shed a lot…I always worry it’s a more than normal amount. :-/

  37. Elise says:

Will definitly try to cut cafeine in that time of the month bc I do have bad low back aches…and I drink water like crazy for sure…maybe some yoga too.. :)

  38. Caroline Johnston says:

What tinted sunscreens do you use? You mentioned 50 and 30 spf?

  39. Manar says:

I have a question for K and K. What do I do with the leftover egg yolk? In almost every recipe we need egg whites..Here in Europe (The Netherlands) we can’t get separate egg whites. Can you make a recipe with all the egg yolk? Or can I just use the whole egg instead of the whites only? Please help, I want to stay on track but I don’t like to waste food.
    Love Manar (@manartiu on instagram)

  40. Katrina, I’ve heard you mention that you have or have had, in the past, issues with acne. What skincare products do you use to keep your face so clear? I am trying to find a regimen that is healthier for my skin… something that doesn’t have so many harsh chemicals.

    Thanks girl!

  41. Hey guys! I love your videos! Also I would love you doing a Q&A video on
eating disorders. I have soooo many questions. Is it safe for me to join the plan? Can I participate in the community forum and receive support from the other girls? Can I take the nutricion plan from the new Bikini Series with my physician?

Thank you so much for your motivation!
    XOXO.

  42. I may not even posting in the right area, but am looking for some help. I recently underwent some financial hardships due to cutting back on work, and going back to school. I have to cut things out such as my gym membership and do everything from home. Any pointers on getting exercise accessories of my own? Will I reach the same results when I start Tiu?

    1. Hey girl!
Any of our workouts on the site are great to use! We have tons of equipment free workouts as well.
