Hi beauty ~ we hope you’re remembering to take some time for you right now and connecting with your heart. With a lot going on around us, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and feel disconnected from self. So today we want to share a few ways that we find have helped us when life becomes a bit hectic.

Each of these are designed to connect with your spirit, remember your why, love with purpose and intention, and fill your cup so you’re better equipped to be strong for those around you.

Having a morning routine, whether it be 5 mins or 30 minutes, is one small act to help you feel balanced and centered throughout the rest of your day. We’ve found it so helpful for a clear mind and starting your day off on the right track. It can be something as simple as sipping your coffee or tea in the morning and setting your intentions for the day.

Reach out to a girlfriend you haven’t spoken with for awhile. We have been so grateful to talk with family and loved ones right now. It helps fuel your spirit and bring a even smile to your face too. Seeing you girls support each other in this #TIUcommunity too is everything and so important.

If you’re a TIU girl, you know how much we love journaling. There’s something about putting pen to paper that is empowering and enlightening. It’s an amazing way to process your emotions and evaluate your intentions.

Meditation is an incredible way to recenter with your purpose, connect with self, and gain perspective on your thoughts and your heart. And the best part about meditation is it’s unique to you ~ set up a sacred space in your living room for a guided meditation in your #TIUapp, turn on soothing music and make yourself a healthy meal in your kitchen, or find a quiet moment for stillness and clarity. Plus, meditation has been scientifically proven to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and boost immunity.
