Mindful Meditation For Self-Love

Good morning gorgeous! It’s day one of the Love Your Body Series, and I’m so grateful you joined me for your first mindful meditation of the series. 💜

Throughout the next eight weeks, I’ll be sharing a new meditation every Monday here on ToneItUp.com and in your Studio Tone It Up app. Every week we will honor a different intention. This week we focus on self-love, one of the most essential intentions of the series. It all begins there! Self-love allows yourself to be you, embrace you, and free yourself from anything holding you back. Once you have self-love, you can do anything and love anyone✨

Find a comfortable place, close your eyes, and join me for this meditation. If you’re new to meditation, you can read more about my journey and the incredible benefits here. Remember you can come back anytime and meditate with me in your Studio Tone It Up app. You can find meditations for whatever your mind and body are craving. Meditation is a beautiful way to center yourself, relieve stress, unlock your creativity, and find inner peace.

Remember to honor who you are and know that you are loved always💫

xxo,

Karena

P.S. Check in with me after your meditation on Insta #TIULoveYourBody. Hearing from you means the world to me. Can’t wait to start this journey with you!

  2. This was a beautiful way to start the day. I, too, struggle with meditation, but want to get better. Thank you, Karena. These will be my favorite part of the Love Your Body series because it’s where I need the most improvement!

    1. Hey Marcie! The more you meditate, it will start to feel more natural. Don’t worry if your mind wanders at first, just try to bring your focus back to your breath. Meditation will be incredible time for you ~ I’m so happy you’re trying it for the series! xxo

  3. I loved this meditation. It definitely resonated with me. I need to work on self-love and accepting me where I am right now. Excited to begin this journey with the Love Your Body Series. Love you girls.

    1. Hey Lisa! I’m so glad the meditation resonated with you. You are beautiful and strong where you right now in your journey! Sending you so much love 💛

  4. I’m so looking forward to this after a 15 hour day between two jobs. It will be a lovely way to end my day on a positive, relaxing note. Looking forward to incorporating more meditation and just general quiet in my life in 2019. <3

  5. Karena I really enjoyed today’s meditation! I had never meditated before Tone it Up and I’m finding that I really look forward to doing them. The love meditation you did last year is one I always do when I want to feel closer to my loved ones who have passed away. Will there be a new meditation each week? I remember last year during the Love Your Body Series when I very first did your meditations, your voice relaxed me so much that I kept falling asleep, LOL! Thanks for introducing me to mindful meditation! xo-Katie

    1. Hey Katie! I’m so glad you enjoy the mediations. It means so much to me! Yes, there will be a new meditation every week for the series. I can’t wait to share more! xxo

  6. I loved the image of the pink bubble floating above me, ready to scoop up and drift away any negativity. I will definitely be adding this to my personal mediation practice. I took a risk last week and shared some Mindful Moments with my high school English students. They asked me today if we were going to breathe before completing their final exam practice (my heart melted). It is so cool to see them reaping the benefits of connecting to self!

    1. That is so amazing to hear April! I love that you are sharing mindfulness with your students and that they are connecting with it! xxo

  7. I needed this today. I started off my morning with it and then again at the end of my day. I’ve started a new job recently and am still in that new learning phase that can make you feel a little insecure and unsure. But I can center myself, accept and love myself and talk to myself like I would a friend and start a new day tomorrow.

    1. That’s a beautiful perspective Carol. Starting anything new can be scary but just know that you are brilliant and capable and you have an entire community behind you. Sending you love 💛

  8. I loved this so much Karena, thank you! I dont meditate regularly but this moved me to tears – I need to be kinder to myself and this is such a beautiful way to begin doing that.

    1. I am so happy you joined for this meditation and that it resonated with you! It means the world to me 🙏💛

  9. Beautiful meditation 🧘‍♀️ I cried when I saw all my thoughts of self doubt float away in the pink bubble. I am going to conquer today.

    1. That truly means so much to me Moriah! Yes today is all yours and you are going to conquer it like the brilliant, powerful woman you are! xxo

  10. I love that you’re making yoga and meditation a part of this community <3 For me, it is so important to take care of my emotional health and balance so thanks so much! I loved this meditation and definitely made me feel humbled and free <3

    1. I’m so glad you loved the meditation Judith! Taking care of your emotional and spiritual health is SO important! xxo

  11. Karena, thank you! I, too, felt tears welling up as I watched that pink bubble filled with murky, heavy, negative thoughts floating gently away. Such powerful, evocative imagery. I look forward to meditating with you more often and plan on searching for the love meditation from last year mentioned in the comments above by Katie. Also, Carol’s perspective of centering myself, accepting and loving myself, talking to myself like I would a friend, and starting a new day tomorrow truly resonates with me. Today has been emotional and challenging but I feel lifted up after watching Kombucha with K & K and then mindfully meditating for self-love. So grateful for the TIU community and all that it fosters. <3

    1. Thank you so much for joining Rosemary and I’m so glad this meditation touched you! Kat and I are so grateful to have you in this community. Sending you so much love 🙏💛

    1. I am so glad this meditation resonated with you. You are so beautiful and strong, and you have an entire community of women here to support you through this time and always. We love you. xxo

  13. Hi Ladies,

Thank you for the wonderful video!

I loved how I was able to cast this meditation on my TV screen. Will the Tone It Up app ever get something like that where I can cast TIU studio workouts on my entire TV screen?

Hoping that comes into fruition one day.

    Love you both ♥️

    Blessings from Chicago,

    Alysa

    1. Hey Alysa! So glad you joined for the mediation! You can cast workouts to your screen with the TIU App! We have instructions here! Hope this helps! xxo

  14. Karena,
Sending you love and thankfulness for making this powerful meditation for us! Your voice is like the loving voice we all need to hear to let hard things go in our minds. I have struggled with negative self talk and I will be listening to this meditation over and over. Namaste Karena! Hugs to you and Kat!
