Coffee Chat with K&K ~ How To Get Your Mojo Back!

Hey babe! Join us for some coffee ☕️ This morning we’re talkin’ about something that all women experience at some point~ losing your mojo and how to get it back! It’s completely natural to have days or weeks when you lose momentum because other things in your life take priority. It happens to all of us (Kat and me too!) so know that you’re never alone. The most important thing is to recognize what you’re going through and be OK with it. We never want you to beat yourself up — give yourself grace and keep moving forward!

Kat and I love to journal as a powerful tool to get back on track and reorganize our thoughts, goals, and intentions! The moment you start setting intentions for the week and writing them down, you WILL make them happen! We always say, “The number one promise you can make is the promise you make to yourself!” Accountability is also key! Tell your girlfriends your goals, they will listen and check up on you! Your Studio Tone It Up app is great because you can sign up for a class and see other girls who will be taking class with you. You can also chat with other TIU girls and find an accountability partner! 👯

It’s so important to surround yourself with motivating women! The TIU community is always here for you to give you some extra mojo ✨

Love you lots,

Karena

  1. Learn to rest, not to quit. I just stumbled upon that quote and it is really helping me stay motivated. Life happens, we all get tired, planks are hard…take a break, but don’t give up <3

    1. Take a break when you need to but don’t quit. There is a difference. So happy to have this community. I love watching these videos.

  2. Don’t even think about what you DIDN’T do or beat yourself up about workouts you’ve missed. Just give yourself a little forgiveness and jump back in tomorrow! Feeling guilty, sad, angry or disappointed never helps. Be excited about tomorrow!

  3. Just keep moving! If those burpees are feeling too hard, go slower or step forward instead of jumping but just keep going! (like that minute of switch jumps at the end of HIIT Me Up where I have to stop the video before I start them… UGH!) Thank you for your honesty K & K!

  4. I love this! K&K chats are so motivating for me, this is exactly what i needed right now. I signed up for the bikini series but have not participated as life has gotten in the way. I need to remind myself not to beat myself up for missing workouts and just do it! Writing lists is also a big thing for me, definitely makes me more accountable to myself. Also where is Karenas dressing gown from? I need it in my life, so pretty! 🤗

  6. My favorite way to find my way back home is to meal prep- I make muffins or overnight oats- something yummy from the plan that will be ready for me after a workout. It helps all the other things in my life line-up. I also find journaling to be one of the most helpful tools, it’s usually not until I journal that I connect to maybe why I am in a rut and then I can always see my way through. Oh! I also walk my sweet dog with my husband and I vent it all out on the trail- that is excellent therapy ;)

  7. Than you so much for this video. I so needed to hear this right now especially the instruction not to beat myself up. Your advice is so valued. Xx

  8. My teacher in first grade wrote a individual message to all her students, mine was ” learn the biggest mystery of life – love, forgive, and forget” Those words have been with me since then. And when I lost my mojo, I go through those step, boost my self esteem, I forgive what have happened and forget it and move forward.
This is sometimes easier and sometimes harder. sometimes it is enough with some me-time, a walk in the nature, some hours alone in the kitchen. Time for reflection, time to prioritize my life, goals. Sometimes it is harder, but time for reflection is key for me. To see in a bigger picture and in a long run makes it easier for me now to to the right choices for me in the long run, and that befits everyone. A happy me is a more loving me. And the first I see every morning is “do something today that your future self will thank you for”.
