Brian and I are overjoyed and hearing from you means the world to us 💖 I’m so excited to share my journey with you! TIU mamas…I can’t wait to hear alllll your tips! I know you have so much amazing advice to share!

Today I want to introduce you to another boss babe and new mom ~ our girlfriend Louise Roe! Louise’s Beautiful Family 💗

Louise LOVED these Peanut Butter Mini Muffins! You have to try ’em!

Makes 12 mini muffins (serving size is 3)

1/2 cup vanilla Tone It Up Protein

1/2 cup egg whites

1/4 cup peanut butter

4 Tbsp. almond milk

1 Tbsp. coconut oil

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 cup chocolate chips

Coconut oil pray

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a mini muffin tin with coconut oil spray.

2. In a bowl, mix all ingredients except chocolate chips until combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips.

3. Pour batter into the mini muffins tins and bake for 13 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!


  1. can we sub the vanilla for the new peanut butter tiu protein? I am running low on my vanilla and getting more this week

      1. It would be great if they would include modifications for protein flavors, so I’m glad y’all brought it up!
        I almost always have the TIU vanilla protein on hand, but not always the other flavors. So it would be awesome to hear how the other ones work with a recipe like y’all did with the PB!

      1. Kat, I was wondering your thoughts about doing the bikini series with placenta previa. 24 weeks pregnant with our second son!! So excited but with this diagnosis I’m so bummed I have to put my workouts (at least the intensity) on hold. Wanted so badly to participate in this year’s challenge. Do you have suggestions on how I can still participate and possibly get in safe workouts?

  9. Is the nutrition plan safe for those who are trying to get prego or are currently? I’m aware that you shouldn’t have kombucha or ACV but in terms of all tiu protein powders, bars, bites and recipes are these safe for mama’s to be?

    1. Make sure you look for an all natural peanut butter but check labels because some brands like Skippy still put sugar in their natural peanut butter. I love Trader Joe’s or Teddie Peanut Butter but most stores should have an all natural store brand with just peanuts and salt or just peanuts as ingredients!

    2. I love Wild Friends peanut butter! So good and it’s just roasted peanuts and salt. They have a lot of different flavored nut butters too!

  16. Congrats to all the new moms and moms-to-be! I have a 3 year old and a brand new 7 week old that I’m breastfeeding, so I definitely hear ya on the multi tasking. That’s why I love TIU and the studio though. The daily moves and on demand sections are a lifesaver. I squeeze in little 10-15 min BC whenever I can and before I know it I’ve workout for an hour! I used TIU to get back into shape after baby #1 and it was amazing! I would love to see more post part I’m stuff. For example, healing diastasis rectus and how to modify the WO when you can’t do many of the ab moves. Love you girls!

  18. Mom of 2 young kiddos, work outside the home, PTA, travel, and roller derby. I’m super busy and I love the way K+K have come up with a great way to fit exercise and healthy meal prep/planning into my incredibly busy life. I’ve got a bunch of my team and girlfriends all across the country planning to join the Bikini Challenge with me ❤️

  19. No joke on the breast feeding hunger!!! It is unreal. Some days you’ll find yourself absolutely ravenous. As my hubby said to me one day during my bfing days “I’ve never seen anyone so desperate to eat food!” My babies are now kids and it is still true that you find time to workout when you can. Goodbye hour long workouts, hello 30 minute hiit or lunges at the playground…or the 10 minutes you sneak in after a rough night but before the kids wake. It’s challenging giving of yourself so much in motherhood… but gathering a village around you is so important so you can continue to take care of your own health! The best advice I have is don’t be afraid to ask for help in whatever capacity it is that you really need it. Motherhood is not a solitary journey.

  20. Loved this! I have a 3 month old (first-time Mama!) and I am sooo excited to be getting back into the TIU Nutrition and fitness plans! Super stoked for the Bikini Series! I’ll be doing it with my Sis-in-law who just had a baby too! Congrats Kat!!

  28. This is so great!! I have a 3 week old (and a 2 year old and 4 year old), and I am looking forward to doing the bikini challenge! I did it last year and I was able to get in super shape right before I got pregnant, so I am hoping to get back to where I was! My 2 and 4 year old girls love to join me in the workouts, so I am hoping to make the most of new baby’s naptime to do the challenge! But I also need some tips on modifications due to nursing and still recovering. So excited!

  29. I just made these and substituted the vanilla protein with their new pb protein and they were delicious! Probably the best muffin recipe I’ve made from TIU. The pb flavor really came through and the chocolate chips added just the right amount of sweetness. Also the consistency of the muffins was a little more hearty which I loved. Will definitely be making again!
