Is this the new Bikini Series?

We decided to change things up a bit this year to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Tone It Up!! Lookin’ for your fave Bikini Series workouts? You can find them in the Studio Tone It Up app and we’ll be working out to them throughout the entire series!

Do I need both the Nutrition Plan & the app for the Summer Series?

YES! The combination of the workouts and Lean, Clean, ‘N Green eating with your Meal Plan will give you the BEST results. We’re talking lean muscles, booty & abs poppin’, and skin glowing! ✨💪🙌🏻

Where do I find my workouts?

The Tone It Up app is your destination for ALL workouts and lifestyle challenges. Make sure you check your app every morning to find your daily challenge checklist — it shows your workout, nutrition tips, and more. This way everything is in one place!  That is something the community requested in our last survey, so we simplified everything for you!

How many workouts should I do each week?

Aim to crush at least 4 Studio workouts per week plus one active recovery day ~ whether it’s a gentle yoga flow, foam rolling, or a walk with a girlfriend.  Rest is just as important as your workouts!

Will there be live workouts?

YESSS!!! We’re kicking off live workouts in Studio Tone It Up with us and your Studio trainers! Our first live workout will be with us next Wednesday at 4:30 pm PST. Can’t wait to work out LIVE with you…anything can happen 😉

Do I have to follow the meal guides exactly?

The meal-by-meal guides are suggestions for you, so you can follow them exactly or customize your plan to work for your lifestyle. You’re still “on the plan” if you mix and match meals. Just stick to the nutrition guidelines outlined in the plan and you’re all set!

Make healthy, easy protein muffins with plant-based, gluten-free, non-GMO, Tone It Up Protein.

Do I need anything else to succeed?

We definitely recommend stocking up on Tone It Protein for the challenge ~ it’s in so many of your new smoothies and treats. It will help you recover post-workout and form lean muscle to reach your fit goals.

  1. Is the app free for 30 days as mentioned in the kick off video or 7 days? When I try to sign up, it says 7 day free trial but Karena said 30 days. Is there a code we need to use?

To access the special, sign up for the Series and then click on the link “get the app” and you’ll see that the code is already applied!         1. What about if you used to have a subscription but had to cancel and want to start it again? Does the 30 day trial work for it when you repurchase?

  2. Just to clarify, we should be doing the daily workout moves 7days/week and the studio workouts at least 4 times per week?

    1. Hey Tara! You don’t need to do both, just the Studio workouts 4 times a week and an active rest day. Can’t wait to start the challenge with you! 🤗

  4. Hi girls, any portion size suggestions for the tiu boyfriend / hubby? 🙂 Twice? More carbs?

    1. I make a meal and then microwave a potato as a carb for my Husband. Same serving size of dinner, just add a carb for him. Best of luck!

    2. Hey babe! The “Calorie Add-Ons” section of your Meal Plan is a great place to find healthy suggestions for your TIU boyfriend/hubby! Brian and Bobby usually add some protein and an extra carb.

  5. hi! will all older bikini series videos be available through the app? like the Coachella live workout?

    1. Hey babe! You can find tons of Bikini Series videos in your app in the On Demand section. The Coachella Live workout isn’t on there yet, but we’ll look into adding it with our developers! xxo

  6. I came down with a bad cold a few days ago (cough, stuffy nose, etc). Been taking cold medicine, but I’m worried that I won’t feel better by Monday. Any suggestions on what I should do? I signed up for the new summer series last week, before I got sick. ☹

    1. Hey Tanya! Aww sorry you’re not feeling well. Our biggest suggestion would be to listen to your body and not push yourself this week if you’re still feeling sick or run down at all. Go light on your workouts and drink LOTS of water. We also like to take shots with ginger and cayenne pepper. Hope you feel better soon 🤗

  7. I would love a bundle like you did for the old challenges! I miss this element. It’s my reward and motivation, all in one!

    1. My sister and I were thinking the same. We felt more organized in years past. Everything was clearly laid out on a schedule ahead of time and the meal plan included suggestions for lifestyle activities like journaling and goal setting. We’re feeling a bit unprepared. Also we’ve been away for a while…what happened to #bootycalls?

Your Booty Calls are still your morning workout ;) You can find your weekly workout schedule all laid for you here and it’s also laid out in the app. With this challenge we’re simplifying everything and providing it all in one place. In your app, you’ll find all your workouts plus now we’ve added lifestyle and nutrition tips. xxo

  8. Sorry, a wee bit confused! So, tomorrow AM, my app will revamp a bit and the summer series stuff will be there? In “my day” or “studio schedule” or…? Or will it just be the same and I just have to go into the studio sched and sign up for everything like normal? I assume I’m missing something, otherwise it’s kind of the same as any other week! :)

    I’m pretty new/only a month in, so I’m still figuring out how to use the app!

    1. Hey Jillian! Today in your Tone It Up app, you’ll see a new daily challenge checklist that previews your workout and gives you some amazing lifestyle and nutrition tips. This will be there every day of the challenge. For your Studio workouts, you can just go in and schedule them like usual. You’ll see a new live workout you can schedule on Wednesday this week too!! So happy you’re loving the app!

  10. Do we still do booty calls in the morning in addition to the workouts or just the workouts now? Thx

    1. Hey Megan! Your “Booty Call” just means your morning workout…that you’re getting that cute booty up and moving in the morning. For this series, we suggest that your Booty Call is 4-5 Studio classes per week plus an active rest day. If you can’t get to your workout in the morning, that’s OK. Just get moving a bit in the morning (like a walk with your coffee!) and you can do the workout video whenever fits in your schedule. xxo

      1. Me too! I see above someone asked about daily moves and studio workouts and it says just do 4 studio workouts per week… but I don’t see an “option” for daily moves either.

        1. I’m getting the vibe that there aren’t any Daily Moves…? Maybe? The couple questions I saw where it was asked, they just acknowledged the “4 Studio Classes per week” part… kind of a bummer! Is this the case, are the 5 Daily Moves no longer a thing??

  12. Disappointed no daily moves. I liked the option of daily moves and/or signing up for class. Will this be an option as the series continues? The class is not enough some days and I like the daily moves paired with the class to really focus on body areas. I looked forward to the Daily Moves more than the class, it was my challenge and motivation each day.

If you’re looking for a quick workout to pair with your daily class, check out the On Demand section of your app. You can filter by time and also specific body part focuses like arms, abs, and booty. That way you can find a quick workout that’s exactly what you’re looking for. We love “Toned Abs With Kat” “Malibooty” and “7 Minute HIIT” — all under 10 min, and there are so many more to choose from! And we’ll be creating a program in the future that’s an even better experience to do your toning moves.

As a side note, would you ever consider adding the new videos as a separate download that we could pay for (another Beach Babe DVD)? I have all of the Beach Babe DVD’s/downloads and can’t justify paying the yearly fee for the app especially when some of those videos are in the app. I don’t want to double pay, but feel like I’m missing out on new content. Plus, it seems that others are having trouble streaming the videos so it would be nice to have a copy that we can access at any time and not have to rely on the app or strong Internet connection.       1. Thank you for the response and explanation. It’s awesome the app continues to evolve. Still it doesn’t sound like when people asked for more workout videos they imaged it was either or. Always a bad move to take away features instead of improving and adding. Not sure I’ll be renewing the app in the future.

  15. I’m looking for daily moves as well. I’ve been following tone it up for years and now everything is money driven. I understand business has expanded but don’t forget where it all started. The daily moves was quick and perfect if still available

The workout videos are the best way to sculpt, rev your metabolism, and see the results you want. Plus, we’re always asking the community what you’re looking for. In a recent survey we sent out, the overwhelming response was move workout videos and more live classes, so we’re focusing on that for this series. For a future update, we’re working on a program that’s an even better experience for your toning moves. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a quick and effective workout, check out the On Demand section. You can filter by time and focus, so you can find exactly what you’re looking for. There are lots of options for quick & effective workouts under 10 mins.       1. I´m super excited for whatever new toning moves/strength workout is to come! I wasn´t a huge fan of the daily moves tbh (mainly cause apparently I can´t count to 12 in the morning ^^). The studio classes are way more fun :)

  16. Also wondering about the daily moves as I like to take my phone to the gym and just do those moves there rather than wake up my neighbors with an early morning studio class. Where are the daily moves now?

  19. When I logged into the app this morning I noticed that there were no traditional daily moves to compliment today’s workout. Will there be no more DM’s during this challenge?

    1. I am wondering the same thing. I read the other replies and I understand that you guys are developing something simple for us, but does this mean we no longer have daily moves? I know there were suggestions about short workouts in the “on demand” section; however, the daily moves were quick and easy rather than now having to take time to pick out which workout works and fits best for that day. I personally like a workout longer than 30 minutes, which is why I looked forward to the daily moves in addition to my daily workout. I know you guys are trying to improve the app and I have seen a lot of improvement within the 2 years that I have been a member, but when I took the survey for nutrition tips and more on demand workouts I did not know that it would take the place of the daily moves. You guys are working hard and are great at what you do, but it is disappointing to see the daily moves go and no longer workouts to replace it. Thank you for your time.

It’s really disappointing to see so many people complaining about the Daily Moves… I think it’s great that you guys are adding more Studio workouts and keeping everything in one place on the app! That workout today for Day 1 of the Summer Series was amazing and very challenging! I’m excited to see the future changes to the Daily Moves and more programming of workouts in that regard.   21. I am new to the TIU lifestyle. I just bought some of the protein powder and started using the app to do the Daily Moves last month. I am really disappointed these toning moves have been removed, as I really loved the format & convenience of them as a busy SAHM. I was not planning on joining the summer series at this time, and now I feel forced to commit and “buy in” in order to continue my workouts. :( It’s really frustrating that this happened but more so that it was not communicated in advance that this feature would be completely removed today. Please bring the Daily Moves back…or something similar! We loved them!

  22. I definitely miss the Daily Moves and hear all of the ways TIU is changing it up (thank you for listening to feedback and improving the app!). As someone who travels a lot and has encountered really bad hotel wifi, DM were the best thing and I hope that the new additions come soon! Doing any of the series feels nearly impossible if you can’t stream the videos and there’s no DMs to at least keep you motivated

  24. Very disappointed the daily moves were removed and feel like I’ve been backstabbed, as they were removed right before the start of a new and very popular challenge. I use those workouts because they’re free and I’m broke. TUI was great because it provided free accessible workouts and made things convenient. I’ve been following the daily workouts for the last 10 weeks, lost 10 pounds and was doing great. Really enjoying them. Now I’m going to have to consider paying for 3 months of premium classes to get through this challenge successfully. When the surveys were done, I don’t think anyone was expecting the daily moves to be pulled. Really upset by this. :(
    I’ve been a very devoted member for years without complaint, even when the premium content started coming out. But now this is a huge setback for the community. Love you girls, please don’t leave the daily moves in the dust.

  25. As you are evolving into a more mature platform, it would be wise to release the data behind the “overwhelming” response prompting you to remove the Daily Toning Moves from the app and the program.
    This is not ideal for me, as a working new mom who sometimes needs to abandon a workout midstream and pick it up later (maybe in a different location) nor for several others, as a quick scan here indicates. Very disappointing; I was looking forward to this first challenge post-baby.

  26. I’m really disappointed/ annoyed that the Daily Moves are gone. I’m glad other ladies are also missing them. The Daily Moves were what attracted me to the program in the first place- before buying the old series’ workout plans, the meal plan, the protein powder… They also kept me opening the app daily. My getting friends/ coworkers to try the Daily Moves were how other women around me got hooked on TIU!

  27. Hi TIU HQ! I am so disappointed to see the daily moves removed from the app :( I see many other TIU girls also would love to have them back. How long can we expect them to be gone? Will we not have daily moves for the entire summer series? I have been a TIU girl for 2 years and SO in love with this community and all the work Katrina and Karena and the TIU HQ puts into this program, but WE LOVE OUR DAILY MOVES! Please bring them back to us ASAP! :) Happy day 3 of the summer series!

    1. Hey babe! You don’t need to do cardio in addition to the 4/5 classes, but if you’re feeling strong and looking for some more, you can always do a 20-minute walk or jog!
