Green Bean Casserole! Vegan & Gluten Free :)

    lbs fresh green beans, cut into small pieces

  • pinch of sea salt

  • 12

    oz. mushrooms

  • 3/4

    cup vegetable broth

  • 1

    Tbs. white wine (optional)

  • 3

    cloves garlic, minced

  • fresh ground black pepper to taste

  • 3/4

    cup almond milk, unsweetened

  • 1

    small yellow onion, thinly sliced

  • 2

    Tbs. olive oil

  • 2

    Tbs. ground flax seeds

  • 1

    Tbs. walnuts, crushed

  • 1

    Tbs. nutritional yeast (if desired)


  1. Made this tonight, soooo good! I can see why it would be a Thanksgiving favourite. For me, it was the perfect accompaniment to vegan mac and cheese :)

    Think it has potential. Next time I think we are going to add some fresh Tday kinds of herbs, like sage, marjoram and thyme. Maybe a nice vegan gravy over it. Thanks!
